Non Aligned Records is a small and independent record label with a focus on releasing old music from the territory of ex-Yugoslavia. We are a band of primarily DJs, dedicated crate diggers and music lovers turned editors and music detectives.

We find recordings that were never released, or that were pressed in limited runs a long time ago — that have cultural significance and meaning to us — and try to give them contemporary contexts, especially on dancefloors. We work with artists, families, and private collections from the region.

Our editions are released in small runs with real research and liner notes written with heart and soul. Mastering is done from original tapes whenever we can get to them — but we don't stop at any source. Detective work is what we do and leads are gold nuggets, waiting to be unearthed from the rich musical heritage of the Balkans.
